Getting Started

I've been contemplating the idea of starting my own blog for quite a while now. Although I had reserved this blog spot about 5 months back, it took me so long to actually scribble the first few lines on my blog! One of the reasons for that is that I'm not yet all that comfortable with the idea of writing a blog. I know a lot of people who just keep writing all about themselves and their thoughts, their emotions, their feelings, and almost everything on their blogs. Frankly, I would rather talk to someone in person, and tell them about what I feel, if they want to know that.
Now, I guess I finally gave in to the idea of having my own little personal space on the web, where I could scribble anything I wanted :)
If I start writing about myself, there would be no end to it, and neither would it be interesting to read (not that I'm interesting in reality, anyway!) Ok, so that was just one of my dry jokes - a sampler, basically. Be aware that I'm really good at dry jokes (also popular as PJs or Poor Jokes!).
Well, shifting the focus from ME on to something that I like to talk about... Let's see... I'd like to write about a whole lot of things, but one thing that I'm really enjoying at present, is my Internship with VMware, in California. This has been the most exciting thing that I've done in a long time now. I've had the chance to work on some real cool stuff, something that I've always liked, and also have loads of fun - both in the office, and outside. California is a beautiful place, more so for the explorer. I am just loving every moment of being in California, being the outgoing explorer type. It's like I'm on some treasure hunt or something - only that I find a treasure and keep looking for more treasure :) Of course, the treasure here, is the natural beauty, the wilderness and the escape that these places provide for a mortal soul like me!
Work-wise, the culture at VMware has been most homely and friendly. It makes us feel that work is real fun. The openness, the vision, and attitude of the people working here makes it a great place to work. I have had the opportunity to learn a lot of things from the people here at VMware.
Well, I seem to have given more than an introduction to my self. It's been a long day today, and I'm going to call it a day now.
I'd like to end my blog for today with this wonderful quote by Mahatma Gandhi, which I have truly come to beleive: "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win"!
